Short Info on P90X System

Power 90 Extreme, or popularly known as P90X system is an interval type of training specifically designed for home workouts. The P90X system uses the technique known as muscle confusion, a method where exercises that are done are varied in a span of days, weeks and months so that the body will have a hard time adapting to it.

The PX90 workout includes stretching, cardio exercises like jump training, yoga and kenpo and weight training involving pull-ups and push-ups.

The P90X system requires approximately 13 weeks of training where six days are for workouts and one day is for stretching. On days 1, 3, and 5 weight training is the focus of the training. Body parts such as the biceps, triceps, shoulders, back and legs are being worked out. During these sessions, a 15-minute abs exercise is after weight training. On days 2, 4, and 6 cardio exercises are done.

Since the PX90 workout is done at home, personal exercise devices must be purchased such as yoga mats for cardio exercises, and dumbbells and resistance bars for weight training. It also suggests purchasing devices such as a timer and heart rate monitor to help you keep track of your progress like in cardio exercises.

To complement this exercise in achieving a sound mind and a fit body, a P90X system nutrition has also been designed. Many people have already proven the effectiveness of this program. Celebrities, fitness conscious people, busy moms and even common people’s lives were changed since using the P90X system.
